What are Model Share Portfolios?
A Model Share Portfolio is like having
your own managed fund but with you
having complete control over the underlying
investments, the portfolio size and
taxation issues. Our Model Share Portfolios
have a flat non asset based fee structure,
which means that your fees remain
the same irrespective of how much
you invest and the value of your portfolio.
There are three different Model Share
Portfolios.
Once set up, you will receive ongoing
recommendations by email whenever
changes are required. It is then up
to you to authorise changes to your
share portfolio.
Choose from the following:
Income Portfolio
Designed for investors who desire
above average market income yields,
primarily through fully franked
dividends. Accordingly any capital
gains from this portfolio may be
modest. Due to its income criteria,
this portfolio will retain a bias
to the financial sector.
Balanced Portfolio
Designed for investors who
seek a portfolio of stocks that
provide a combination of income
and capital growth. The overall
portfolio dividend yield will be
close to the market average.
Growth Portfolio
Designed for investors who
seek capital growth rather than
income and therefore this portfolio
will have an overall dividend yield
lower than the market average. Growth
stocks usually trade at premiums
to the overall equity market and
may therefore have a higher than
average risk profile.
Each of the share portfolios will
contain 10-12 stocks and thereby should
be seen as "concentrated portfolios"
that focus on stock picking. The stocks
are selected from the S&P/ASX 300.
This implies that each stock has reasonable
liquidity with a market capitalisation
of at least $400m.
